She flew in from Tokyo. Front view was fine; she said her profile looked severe. There was about a 2.5 mm bump mid-bridge, and the tip was pointing down.
Shaving the hump alone makes the nose look short. So while I filed the bump down with an osteotomy, I also raised the tip roughly 1.5 mm using her own septal cartilage. No silicone. Her own tissue only.
Swelling stops being noticeable to other people at about two weeks. The tip stays firm for up to three months. These photos are at the three-month mark.
She stayed eight days: dressing on day one, sutures out on day five, splint off on day seven, then home.
